The Founder Mr. Abdul Hakim Ansari (late) with his inherent and ingrained family trait, took a humble start in the universal and richest art of weaving silks from Banars Town, Karachi during the post independence of Indo-Pak era. He used his knowledge, wisdom and skillful artisan to produce finest quality all over dress materials and sarees to come out of the BANARSI looms. undertook aggressive moves to turn his business around. Leading from the front, he worked out the strategy to improve upon manufacturing volume and customer value and implemented it through a phased program.
As a first step in the implementation task, he remodeled and distributed the chain of command to his brothers required in different strategic business areas. This ensured the company's operations under more stable and predictable working environment as:

In addition, employed a fleet of hand and power looms to produce a wide exclusive variety of Banarsi allover dress materials and sarees to match every of customers' occasions, each of their celebrations, and many of their varied moods.
Banarsi has its presence with a competitive edge in the richest commercial avenues of Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad catering to the latest fashion. The growing demand of its fabric is the driving force to go for more geographic coverage in near future as it proclaims that:
